The company was founded to secure a long-term reliable natural gas supply for the Natural Gas Power Plant in Şanlıurfa, while aiming to integrate the group’s electricity retail network within the natural gas wholesales business.

The company obtained its Natural Gas Wholesales License from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) in March 2013.
